In business since 1974, this auto shop is the popular choice for Volvo repair and service in San Francisco. Their business, located in the Mission District, sees hundreds of cars per year, rolling in and out every business day. Tools and carts roll around the shop floor, wrenches get dropped, oil gets spilled - a day in the life of a typical automotive repair facility.
The floor had undergone a series of repairs through the years and had multiple layers of coatings applied in an effort to maintain a clean environment. This owner wanted an updated look, a new start to an old floor to present a professional look.
"I want this floor to last. I realize it will be a challenge. I want my space to be bright and clean looking for our customers. We have some problem areas that need addressing to eliminate some rough edges. I need this work done over the holiday weekend holiday and back, open for business at 7 am Monday morning."
We went to work with a solid plan working long days to get the job done on time over a long weekend. The old coatings were completely removed and our Awesome Materials were put to the test on this challenging floor. The result was spectacular, don't you think?

The owner of this fabulous old Oakland home wanted a modern crisp look in her quest to finish out a long-outdated downstairs rumpus room. Dated finishes included wood paneling and VCT flooring, stuck to the concrete with adhesive. Rather than scrape the adhesive back to concrete, our awesome materials encapsulated the flooring, providing a smooth, seamless base to add a bright, white top coat. The end result looks amazing!
